Malus 'Gorgeous' has a round crown and grows to a height of 5 - 6 m. The oval leaves are a fresh colour of green. It produces abundant white flowers in May. They are 3.5 - 4 cm in diameter and are pink when in bud. The flowers are single. After flowering the glossy red fruits appear, Ø up to 4 cm. The tree can be used in broad green verges, parks and gardens. It makes heavy demands of the soil as regards moisture supply and fertility. 'Gorgeous' is slightly sensitive to scab.
