The flowers are 3 - 5 cm in size and turn from pink to almost white. They are single or arranged with 2 flowers together. Forms edible, peachy fruits. Solitary for parks and gardens. Prefers moist soil and a fairly sunny position. Reasonably resistant to wind. Hardiness zone: 6a
