Medium-sized to large tree with a much more densely branched crown than in other cultivars of the honey tree. The round crown grows about 15 m high and wide. The twigs and branches are planted at an angle of 45° - 60° to the trunk. They are green until the fifth year, then grey-green. The old bark is grey-brown and grooved, as in the species. The branches give off an unpleasant smell when broken. The leaf is compound and unevenly pinnate. It consists of 11 to 15 partial leaves that are ovate to elliptical. The partial leaves are glossy dark yellow-green on top and grey-green hairy on the underside. In autumn, it turns yellow. The panicles of creamy white flowers appear at a relatively young age. They are well pollinated by bees. The pod-shaped fruits are like those of the species.
